They are sturdy, have good cushion and great support for your joints and back keeping you aligned. They lean on the more narrow side for fit so if you have wide feet they may not work for you. I really like this sweater and am a big fan of this brand. The material is good quality for what you're paying and the material is soft and comfortable and provides good warmth for those chilly mornings or evenings. So why four instead of five stars?
