This simple yet effective case covers the back with a clear plastic window and fully encases the remote's edges. My kids dropped the old remote far too many times, and being made of aluminum, it dented and the IR piece in the front broke. I even bought a new remote, BUT, once I put this case on the old one (gluing the IR window back on), I discovered I no longer need the new remote, as this will last a long long time. I wish I had bought this from the start. Why didn't I? because I thought it would make it bulkier.
