I've been impressed that despite the size, it's got plenty of power. It's small enough to take on trips, but it still does a pretty good job of cleaning between my teeth. The water tank expands, which is a cool feature, and you can store the attachment in the top making even more compact. While it might not be as powerful as the bigger models, it's been a nice addition to my daily routine, especially when I'm traveling. It's convenient, simple, and works well. I recommend filling from the top hole and leaving the bottom hole open to help dry it out when finished. Overall it's been terrific.

I've tested out both scenarios, while still using a regular string floss daily.
