My dogs canโ€™t get enough of this very noisy ball. We have one outside and one in their playroom. It is very noisy. It is very hard. So, Iโ€™d say a room with fine furniture is not the place for it. Ours bang it around pretty good. Our boxer did split one, biting it. But, sheโ€™s a serious chewer! Our other dog carries it around sometimes but hasnโ€™t been able to damage it yet. So, Iโ€™d say for most chewers itโ€™s going to last a long time. Itโ€™s a great toy but in most households Iโ€™d say basement or outside. Again, itโ€™s hard and did ding a few baseboards.

This thing is durable and worth every penny! I bought this over 5 years ago for my rescue and he STILL loves it. He plays with it near daily and it's got a LOT of love-work scrapes, scratches, and scuffs. But it still works perfectly!! Because he's on the medium side, he can't quite bite down on it.
