The fit is just right and they're very comfortable. This is the second pair I've bought and the review could easily be for both pairs. The only difference between them is the color. I deducted a star because they really need at least 2 more belt loops. Why do manufacturers skimp on something that would be so inexpensive to do right? The belt loops on either side of the front button are 11 inches apart. Ideally they'd be at most 5 or 6 inches apart. Anyway, these will be the shorts I wear to do my yard work. I can put my phone in the right hand cargo pocket and know that the Velcro closure won't let it fall out while I'm working. My keys will go in the left side cargo pocket. I'd definitely buy them again. The price is right and they are comfortable to wear.

These are my go-to shorts, I now have five pair in different camo colors! I suggest one waist size smaller than you normally wear, (I buy a 30 instead of a 32, because they stretch and would be too sloppy if I purchased my regular size). The large open slotted pocket on the left, behind the Velcro flap pocket, is perfect for a normal sized cell phone. Plenty of utility pockets for EDC.
