My grand daughter reads at a 3rd grade reading level, so doesn't want to read the easy readers but loses interest easily with traditional chapter books. This little book was a perfect fit. The story includes a few characters and even though it's so short, there is clear character development. I would recommend this for children under the age of 8 to be read to.
