Marketed to kids 4-12, this content is quite simply odd. Squirrel girl taking her (female) squirrel to a school dance dressed up in a trenchcoat? Ms. Marvel having an anxiety attack and obsessing over ‘not being enough’ over a social media post calling her a b-list superhero? Gwen Stacy haunted by an intergalactic stalker/creep that keeps her from band practice? This one is high on progressive storylines and low on decent storytelling…

Adorable book!

Format: Hardcover

Purchased this book as a Christmas gift for my husband’s little cousin, who is two years old. He adores Mickey and Minnie Mouse and his mother was the one who suggested it. I would recommend this book for all little readers.
