The earliest OD#3 (khaki) neckbands were produced in three different sizes during the war: 1, 3 and 5. This example, with its "5" marking, is equivalent to a size large. It exhibits steel unmarked snaps. This neckband would be ideal for a helmet liner with non painted steel A washers (including Hawleys and low pressure liners). Provenance
