JULES OLITSKI "BEAUTY OF ANGELS" AQUATINT, 1989Jules Olitski (1922 2007) is one of the most collected and accomplished artists associated with the color field movement, if not 20th century American abstraction. Possibly one of the most "demanding" abstract artists appreciating Olitski is not always easy. At first glance, some dismiss his work as simply being a mass or spray of color. But Olitski requires you to get up close to the work, to lose yourself in the color, to consider how its created

This works well for what I needed – a simple background for my kids’ online school. It’s lightweight and very easy to put together, and it stands up fine without needing to mount anything. The color is listed as black, but it’s more of a dark gray in person. Not a huge deal, just something to be aware of. It’s not super heavy duty, but it does the job for privacy and as a video backdrop. Overall, a good, portable divider that’s quick to set up and works well for light use.
