Gold Tone CC-50RP Cripple Creek Resonator Banjo With BagA popular choice among beginning players, CC 50 openback banjo meets a new version with the CC 50RP with updated features. The full walled resonator with a hard rock maple rim and brass rod tone ring projects quality tones. Along with a great resonating experience, the CC 50RP converts into an openback banjo by removing the resonator and mounting brackets. The CC 50RP is also visually outstanding with a rosewood fretboard and vintage brown finish.

I’ve only had this about a week but I like it so far. It has a hook that grabs the vent blade and is very sturdy. It also has a part that slides up and down. I realized after a few days that can be tightened as well. Makes the phone even more still. There is a small button on the right that releases the arms that grab the phone. I didn’t see that noted on the instructions so mentioning it here so no one pulls on them like I did a few times. As long as this doesn’t damage my vent, I will be pleased.
