The first step was to create the colorful swirls and patterned glass kilnfired in a thick form. The next step was to draw the design onto the glass with a waterproof marker then cut out on my ring saw. Nice, business-style, soft, shiny, leather-like material, extremely light and well cushioned all around. But, there is little or no arch support, which make these shoes NOT for all day wear, unless an insole is inserted. The slip resistance is not great, but acceptable. Still, very good for the price.
