Ancient Dome is an Italian thrash metal band formed in 2000 in Saronno, blending Bay Area influences with melodic aggression. After early demos, they released Human Key in 2009 via Punishment 18 Records, followed by two more albums and years of underground activity before disbanding in 2019. In mid 2019, the band decided to re record Human Key for its 10th anniversary.

This starter did work but it was not a direct replacement for the starter in my 1986 Malibu skier with 5.7 mercruiser direct drive. This starter is a mini-starter, which is great in that it’s smaller and lighter but it meant that my starter bolts were too long and I had to add 3/8” stack of washers under the bolt heads. The bracket that supports the front of the starter to the engine block was also not able to be used because the new starter is shorter, although with the lighter starter, that bracket is probably no longer necessary. First few starts have been fine.
