My Aussie loves it and he is a tough chewer as well, so it goes great with his hyper reactive personality. Durability could have been a little better, sometimes I have to take it apart and make sure it’s still in a good position because my dog will pick it up and drop it. With no cushion it did start malfunctioning at about 2 weeks. However, it does still work fine and he loves it even without the movement. Note if you put it in a sock to protect it, my dog goes dangerous and held the sock and created a slingshot lol.
