Shorthand was fairly common during the war and is rather complicated, making some original documents impossible to read unless maybe you have this book to help decipher it. Runs much larger than I expected. I am 5’4”& 136 pounds. Usually wear a medium or large in some knit tops. So I need to stitch the side seams in hopes it will fit better. I like the weight and softness of the fabric, but really disappointed in the too large armholes. Unwearable for me until I
can sew new side seams.
