The dappled colouring comes from the high iron content within the clay, encouraging a speckled patina. Fired at 1300C, this process enhances the variegation and generates a luscious glaze inside, whilst leaving a rough texture on the exterior.

My dog loves this bed, I have one at home for him and one in my office at work (in pic). He sleeps so soundly on it. He’s about 7 lbs and it’s a great size for him, he likes to stretch out when he sleeps. It’s a simple, comfy bed good for dogs about 5-12 lbs. You may want to go one size bigger if your dog is 13-22 lbs.
