Potentilla palustris (Marsh Cinquefoil)Pretty, sharply jagged toothed leaves divided into leaflets. The stem is a reddish brown vine like structure from which the red purple flowers extend. Little maintenance is required. Trim just above the water surface after foliage has died back in Autumn to tidy. Plant in full sun to partial shade between 0cm and 10cm deep.
