280071 - SdKfz 2 KettenkradThe SdKfz 2 Kettenkrad (plural Kettenkrder) started its life as a light tractor for airborne troops. The vehicle was designed to be delivered by Junkers Ju 52 aircraft, though not by parachute. The vehicle had the advantage of being the only gun tractor small enough to fit inside the hold of the Ju 52. The first units equipped with the SdKfz 2 were not paratroopers but regular Wehrmacht infantry units, often scout detachments by the beginning of 1941.

I realize I am the minority. This ball has great reviews. So it has to just be my bad luck. But it worked great the 1st day. Had some problems with getting it to turn on the next day. After that it never came on again. I bought new batteries and put 2 new batteries in it. It still did not light up. Other than that, it’s great and seems durable. I just can’t get the lights to work on it.
